ETS is recruiting educational leaders in the state of Missouri to score the Missouri School Leader Performance Assessment (MoSLPA).

What is the Missouri School Leader Performance Assessment (MoSLPA)?
The Missouri School Leader Performance Assessment is designed to provide opportunities for school leadership candidates to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities as instructional leaders. It was developed by Educational Testing Service (ETS) in collaboration with state educators to measure not just what candidates know, but what they can do. It is a performance-based assessment that schools can use to determine the best fit for school leader candidates and that states can use to align programs with local and national standards, including the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium and the Common Core State Standards.
Scoring takes place twice a year. The next session is scheduled for June 22-26 in Columbia, Missouri.

School Leader Qualifications
• Current clear, renewable, valid school leader certificate in the state of Missouri
• Currently serving as a school leader in the state of Missouri, or has retired within the last four years
• Minimum three years of successful school leader experience

Program Provider Faculty Qualifications
• Currently a faculty member (inclusive of deans, department chairs, directors, etc.) at a state-approved educator preparation program provider (public or private college or university, Regional Education Service Agency, Local Education Agency, or other organization) in the state of Missouri, or has retired within the last four years and
• Experience preparing school leader candidates appropriate for the Missouri School Leader Assessment

You will receive training. The pay rate for scoring is $20.36 per hour.

The Park Hill Innovation Studio will be a new high school site in 2017-18 where students can enroll and take coursework. Instruction and coursework at this site will consist of three major components: personalized learning, facilitated learning, and project/problem/professional based learning. The principal acts as a catalyst in defining, framing, and structuring the innovations within the context of the educational programs within. Finally, the principal serves as the fiscal agent for the site and is the primary leader in all aspects of building leadership.

Qualifications:
• Missouri Advanced Secondary Administrative Certificate.
• A minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience.
